Everyone in Terri's family loved to sing and some played piano and some played guitars.  Terri started playing piano at a very young age.  She listened to songs on the radio and old records and "picked out the notes" on the piano while listening to her uncle's favorite records or while he was playing the guitar.  Her Mother thought that if she was interested in playing the piano that Terri should have "PIANO LESSONS".  She took piano lessons for about 9 years thru various teachers and finally decided that she wanted to play more "modern" music rather than all the music by the "Classical" composers.

She learned to sing along with all the old records that her Great Grandparents had...and learned to harmonize with the records. She sang in her church choir for a couple of years, all the great old Gospel songs.

She learned to play the guitar and started singing in a country band when she was about 22.  She had her own band (The Silver Aces) for about 2 years then she joined up with Bobby Joe and The Outlaws when she was 24.  She played in the band with Bobby Joe and The Outlaws for about 12 years.  They played in clubs and VFW Posts all over Texas.

Bobby Joe started the Outlaws sometime in the 60's and had a lot of the local Talent in the band.   On June 20, 2000, Bobby Joe died of Cancer.  His wish was for the Outlaws to continue "As long as it's kept  country"!

Her favorite female country music singers are Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Connie Smith, Kathy Mattea, Patty Loveless, Kitty Wells and the list goes on and on....

"The guys in the band are all wonderful musicians and great fun to work with.  I feel very priviledged to have them in the band and to play music with such talent!"
